The assumption, of course, is Chair Yoga is a practice for those who can’t get to the floor for health reasons. Often that’s true, but what about when time or circumstances stop you getting to floor? Well, this is the book for those times, for example at work if you need a breather, or if you are travelling.

The postures and routines range from simple joint freeing movements, to quite strong chair based work, and offer something for all levels and all parts of the body – quite a clever combination.

Having previously taught Chair Yoga regularly, I wish I had had this book then as there is a lot of good inspiration in here.

I’d recommend this book to anyone who needs to practice from a chair due to health, travelling, or looking to sneak in a practice from their desk – there will be plenty in here for you.
