Apparently its the start of meteorological summer – last week I’d have believed it, today I’m more sceptical!  Anyway, rain or shine, heatwave or normal weather, I hope you are well.

A little update from Yinspire.

First, the regular Monday evening Therapeutic Yin yoga classes continue both in person from Brading, and via Zoom.    Classes will run through to end of July, take a break for August, and be back in September.   We are a small, friendly, group, and always space for some new faces and returners.

These classes are not about achievement or doing, nor about how stretchy you are or performing the perfect pose – they are about meeting yourself where you are, and nurturing mind, emotions and body.

My Yoga Therapy Clinic is available for those who would like personalised one on one help with health and wellbeing.  Yoga Therapy is a great tool to help with many issues, either by itself or alongside other treatments and therapies.

I specialise in using Yoga to help with Stress and Anxiety; Back Complaints; Rehabilitation from Injury and Surgery – both physically and emotionally; Digestive Health and Pain Conditions.   However Yoga Therapy can help with most things, and no matter what help you need I will always be honest about how Yoga Therapy can assist.

Learn More About the Yoga Therapy Clinic

I’ve been reminded of late about the benefit, and limitations, of Yoga as I’ve been visited over the last 12 months or so with a back pain problem.  It is never one size fits all, and whilst Yoga has certainly helped, I’ve also had to call in other modalities like Osteopathic, Massage and Physiotherapy.  And yes, at times strong pain relief as well.   Life happens.  Possibly the greatest benefit of Yoga is not healing your back, so much as healing the person with the back – you.  The rest follows.

Stay well, and I hope to see you on a mat soon.
