Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some of the questions that are asked frequently, especially about group classes, courses and workshops.
Where Are You? Where do I park? Check out our Studio Location Page – all the information is there!
Do You Offer Classes Elsewhere? No, I only offer classes from my Brading Studio and Clinic
Do You Offer Private Classes? Yes – see the Yoga Therapy are of my website, and in particular the Booking Page
Do You Offer Online Classes? Yes, – see the Classes, Courses and Workshops of my website. I can also offer Yoga Therapy appointments online.
Do I need to bring anything with me? All the equipment you need is available in the studio, including mats and blocks.
You are welcome to bring your own mat, and maybe some water and a blanket or shawl. I also have mats and equipment for sale
What do I do on arrival? Are there particular places? On arrival please take your shoes off at the door. Shoes, bags and coats can be left in the cloakroom at the back of the studio, where there are toilets.
There are no reserved places, I’ll organise the layout before we start.
Can I attend class if I am injured or unwell? It may be better to give your self some rest time, but unless you have something infectious when I ask you to stay away, for physical injuries you are welcome to make your own judgement about attending, and let me know if you need help.
You can tell me about Health or other Concerns
The classes are mat based so participants need to be able to sit comfortably on the floor, and transition between floor and standing.
Are your classes suitable for beginners? Yes, and you are most welcome – we all started once!
I’m unsure of my schedule – Can I turn up and pay cash on the day? Unfortunately no, all classes, courses and workshops must be booked and paid for in advance.
You can book and pay up to 30 minutes before the class starts, and change your class free of charge up to 24 hours before.
Where do I Park? See parking information on our Location Page
What should I wear? Loose comfortable clothes. Lycra and fitness fashion not needed! We generally practice barefoot but do feel free to keep socks on. Shoes must be removed at the door.
How many people will be in class? Normally a maximum of five people – they are small friendly groups.
I’ve left something behind! If its a water bottle then, sorry, its probably in the bin – I get so many left behind! Anything else is kept for two weeks, coats and cardigans in the lobby, mats etc in the store.
Are there age limits? Yes, 18 upwards. No upper age range. Most of my clients are late 30s onward.
I’ve got another question, its not here!
