A lovely simple book on how your mind and brain work, and some simple steps to improve them.

What I liked about this book, was it was an easy read, and quite refreshing after some of the more complicated works I have to read professionally.   There was nothing new or earth shattering in it, but thats not a bad thing – sometimes you just need to go over the basics again.  The author covers the basics well without getting over technical – this is very much a practical manual rather than a scientific treatise.

This book would be a great read for anyone wanting a simple understanding of how our mind works and how thought patterns can become habitual.  The author uses the concept of “MindApples” – a daily five point checklist for mental and emotional well-being, and slowly challenging engrained thought patterns.

A great read for you, if you want something simple, or to gift to a friend.
